Miss Cristina Duquette has been with Connecticut Dance Theatre & the Arts for over fifteen years. She began her studies with the studio at the age of three taking tap and jazz, and later incorporating ballet into her routine. Within her dance career, she was asked to join the CTDTA Competitive Team. She took part on the team, competing all over the state and along the East Coast, winning many prestigious awards in both group and solo performances. After competing for five years, she began the process of assistant teaching. Following her two years training, she began taking on her own classes, earning her the title “Miss Cristina”.

However, dancing wasn’t the only activity that she took part in; Miss Cristina also had a passion for sports. With that, she also had time to assistant coach a youth soccer and basketball league in Watertown.

Academically, Miss Cristina was a member of the National Honor Society, the World Language Society and an active member of the Student Council, finishing her high school career in the top sixteenth percentile of her class.

While continuing to teach, Miss Cristina now moves on to earn her degree in elementary education at Central Connecticut State University.
